天文台︰今日稍後視乎本地風力變化 考慮發出強烈季候風信號 X

<匯港通訊>  天文台表示，位於南海北部的低壓區會在未來兩三小時最接近本港，在本港以南約50公里掠過，本港今日稍後風勢會逐漸增強，天文台屆時會視乎本地風力變化，考慮發出強烈季候風信號。

天文台指，該低壓區結構仍然較為鬆散，其中心附近風力及對流較弱，尚未達到熱帶氣旋強度，按照現時預測，該低壓區會在今早向西北移動，大致移向珠江口一帶。

天文台指，預料大驟雨及狂風雷暴會在今日日間逐漸影響本港，可能需要發出暴雨警告信號或局部地區大雨提示。受活躍西南氣流影響，明日初時部分地區雨勢較大及離岸仍然間中吹強風。
