<匯港通訊>  美國白宮在當地時間周六(23日)發生槍擊事件,當時身處白宮的總統特朗普未有受事件影響。特朗普表示,開槍的男子有暴力史,可能對美國最珍視的建築懷有執念。

特朗普感謝特勤局和執法部門對槍手採取迅速而專業的行動。

事發時,白宮附近傳出槍聲,有槍手向特勤局人員開槍,槍手隨後被特勤局人員擊中,他送院後不治,另有一名路人中彈受重傷。槍手據報為21歲男子 Nasire Best,過去曾多次試圖闖入白宮周邊,曾在社交網站發表極端言論,曾自稱為「上帝」(God)及「真」拉登。 (BC)
