Nasdaq ends lower as AI worries slam tech stocks X

(Infocast News)    The S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended lower on Wednesday, with losses in Advanced Micro Devices, Palantir and other technology companies, as investors worried about pricey valuations and whether Wall Street's AI rally has reached its peak. 

The DJIA rose 260.31 points or 0.53%, to 49,501.30.

The S&P 500 fell 350.61 points or 1.51%, to 22,904.58.

The Nasdaq Composite fell 35.09 points or 0.51%, to 6,882.72.

Share performance was mixed in major European markets.

The FTSE 100 rose 87.75 points or 0.85%, to 10,402.34.

The German DAX fell 177.75 points or 0.72%, to 24,603.04.

The French CAC 40 rose 82.66 points or 1.01%, to 8,262.16. (WL)
