<匯港通訊>   美國經濟首季度顯著放緩,消費和政府支出降溫,通脹回升。

美國商務部公布的初值數據顯示,度國內生產總值(GDP)折合年率增長1.6%,遠低於市場預期的2.5%,較去年第四季的3.4%大幅放緩。

作為經濟增長引擎的消費支出(PCE)按季增長2.5%,低於預期的3%;核心 PCE 按季增長3.7%,高於預期的3.4%,幾乎是前值2%的兩倍,為一年來首次出現季度增長。（BC)
