長實和黃物流中心全層樓面申數據中心遭城規會否決 X

<匯港通訊>    長實(01113)旗下葵涌和黃物流中心6樓全層，今年初向城規會申請改裝數據中心發展，涉及約71.68萬方呎樓面。日前獲規劃署反對有關申請後，最新城規會於昨日審議後，決定否決有關申請。

據規劃署文件顯示，運輸及物流局反對上述申請，指上述地點是滿足貨櫃碼頭、相關港口後備設施發展，若上述地點用作數據中心用途，與葵青貨櫃碼頭的港口或物流運作並未有直接關聯，而且目前規劃用途適當；若批准這宗申請會為區內同類申請立下不良先例，並影響貨櫃碼頭運作及一系列支援。規劃署同意運輸及物流局意見，故不支持有關改劃申請。

城規會昨日舉行會議審理有關申請，決定不同意有關改劃申請，意味申請遭該會否決。（BC)
