美國法院撤銷對孟晚舟刑事起訴 X

<匯港通訊>   美國法院撤銷對華為副董事長孟晚舟的刑事起訴。

孟晚舟與美國司法部達成的延後起訴協議,本月1日屆滿。聯邦檢察官據報同日去信法官,要求撤銷對孟晚舟有關銀行欺詐等指控。

孟晚舟4年前在溫哥華機場過境時,被加拿大警方,應美國司法部要求拘捕。美國指控她在華為的伊朗業務問題上,誤導金融機構。經中國政府斡旋後,孟晚舟被拘押長達1000多天後獲釋,去年9月坐中國包機離開加拿大。
        
不過,美國當局針對華為公司的訴訟仍然繼續,案件將於明年2月3日舉行審前會議,但未有具體審判日期。 (BC)
