嘉華集團與呂耀東合共捐款1000萬港元支援大埔災民 X

<匯港通訊> 新界大埔宏福苑發生的嚴重火災事故，嘉華集團（「集團」）向火災中遇難的居民和殉職的消防員表示沉痛哀悼，並對受影響居民及家屬致以誠摯慰問。

為協助受災人士渡過難關，集團宣布捐出1000萬港元，其中700萬港元由嘉華集團捐出，300萬港元由集團主席呂耀東以個人名義捐出，為受火災影響的家庭提供即時經濟援助，以解燃眉之急，支持他們重建生活。

呂耀東表示：「火災無情，人間有愛。得知大埔宏福苑發生火災，造成多名市民痛失家園，我們感到非常難過。集團希望透過是次捐款，能即時為受災街坊提供一點支持，略盡綿力，協助他們應對當前困境。我們與社區同心同行，祝願所有受影響人士早日走出陰霾，重拾正常生活。」
