美國據報要求在美居留逾30天加拿大人登記 X

<匯港通訊>  據美國廣播公司(ABC)報道,在美國滯留時間達到或逾30天的加拿大人,將必須向特朗普政府登記。

若報道屬實,意味著加拿大人通過陸路穿越北部邊境、並停留超過30天無需登記的傳統規則將出現轉變。

美國國土安全部長有權單方面改變這項規定。從4月11日起,停留逾30天的加拿大人將需要向聯邦政府申請登記,並需要進行指紋識別。

這項規則預計將於周三在美國聯邦公報上發表,規則還指明,在美國停留30天或以上且未獲得登記證明的加拿大人,在入境時將需要填寫新的指定表格。 (BC)
