AMD 據報洽售伺服器生產廠 交易涉30-40億美元 X

<匯港通訊>  外電引述消息人士稱,美國晶片巨擘超微半導體(AMD)與一些亞洲企業洽商,擬出售旗下美國數據中心伺服器生產廠予對方。據估計,連同承擔債務在內,交易價值可能介乎30-40億美元。

根據報道,潛在買家包括台資企業仁寶電腦(Compal Electronics)、英業達(Inventec)、和碩(Pegatron)及緯創(Wistron)。

消息人士指出,商討處於初步階段,不確定交易必然成事,但如果談判順利,可能在第二季作出公布。

如果報道屬實,意味著 AMD 修訂其發展策略,該公司去年才收購該批數據中心伺服器生產廠。 (BC)
