<匯港通訊> 港鐵公司(00066)表示,東鐵線太和站附近出現故障的工程車已被移離現場,東鐵線列車服務逐步回復正常。

港鐵較早前指,一輛工程車在東鐵線太和站附近出現設備故障,令列車服務受阻。港鐵車務工程維修總管李劍雄表示,發生事故是一輛有5卡的工程車,工程人員在凌晨於太和與粉嶺站之間路軌完成工程,準備離開時,發現其中一卡吊運車卡的水平感應系統發生故障,令車卡傾向左邊,為安全及審慎起見,工程人員認為要先處理好,再將工程車移離,港鐵會爭取在下午稍後時間完成,盡早恢復服務。 (BC)
