US stocks climb on Trump AI support, trade outlook X

(Infocast News)    US stocks rallied Tuesday as the president's first days bolstered risk appetite among investors. Donald Trump's softer-than-feared tariff policy and the president's expected support for an artificial intelligence investment deal boosted the broader market.

The DJIA rose 537.98 points or 1.24%, to 44,025.81.

The S&P 500 rose 52.58 points or 0.88%, to 6,049.24.

The Nasdaq Composite rose 126.58 points or 0.64%, to 19,756.78.

Stocks rose in the three major European markets.

The FTSE 100 rose 27.75 points or 0.33%, to 8,548.29.

The German DAX rose 51.69 points or 0.25%, to 21,042.00.

The French CAC 40 rose 37.45 points or 0.48%, to 7,770.95. (WL)
