<匯港通訊>  《韓聯社》報道，南韓總統尹錫悅宣布緊急戒嚴令。尹錫悅表示，政府施政因反對黨行為而陷入癱瘓，稱透過戒嚴法他將重建自由民主的國家。

尹錫悅晚上發表全國電視講話，指責反對派控制議會、同情北韓，並透過反國家活動癱瘓政府。

他宣稱決定對於捍衛國家憲法秩序至關重要。
