中銀香港「義工週」共有4200名義工隊成員參加 X

<匯港通訊>    中銀香港(02388)在11月上旬成功舉辦為期7天的「義工週」，與東華三院、保良局、惜食堂等多家社福機構合作，組織了79項義工活動，共有4200名中銀香港義工隊成員參與，服務社群達 1.6 萬小時。

中銀香港義工隊於2006年成立，宣導「人人做義工」理念，積極組織義工工作和社會公益活動，目前義工隊有超過8400人，分為各單位義工隊及「關愛」、「社區」、「教育」、「青少年」、「環保」五個義工專隊。中銀香港義工隊成立至今總服務時數逾39萬小時，本地受惠機構逾200家，連續11年獲社會福利署「10000 小時義工服務獎」、「義務工作嘉許狀(團體)金狀」等獎項，並連續兩年榮獲特區政府「香港義工獎」—「傑出企業獎」及「年度十大最高義工時數」。 （BC)
