FTX 創辦人 SBF 遭判監25年 涉加密幣串謀欺詐 X

<匯港通訊>  加密貨幣交易平台 FTX 聯合創辦人、有「薯條哥」稱號的 Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF),周四在美國被判處25年監禁,並沒收逾110億美元資產,罪名涉及大規模欺詐和串謀,導致 FTX和相關對沖基金陷入困境。

法官將建議 SBF 在靠近其家庭住所的三藩市灣區監獄服刑。

紐約曼哈頓聯邦法院的判決,遠低於聯邦檢察官期望對 SBF 判處的40-50年監禁,但遠高於 SBF 的律師建議5-6年半監禁。在發現 SBF 在審判中作出偽證供並故意妨礙司法公正後,主審法官卡普蘭(Lewis Kaplan)將 SBF 的量刑範圍提高到最高110年監禁。

SBF 發表道歉聲明,稱他此前擔任 FTX 行政總裁,對 FTX 倒閉負有責任。他曾經做出「自私的決定」,這些自私行為每天都困擾着他。 (BC)
