Win Hanverky: '18 high-end fashion revenue rises 38% X

(Infocast News)      Win Hanverky Holdings (03322) today issued an update on the same-store sales (SSS) performance regarding the high-end fashion retailing business of the group for the year of 2018 and the fourth quarter of 2018.

Although the SSS growth rate of the offline stores under the high-end fashion retailing business for the fourth quarter and the year were approximately -10% and 0% respectively, the overall revenue growth rate of the high-end fashion retailing business for the corresponding periods achieved approximately +49% and +38% respectively.

Such growth was mainly contributed to the strong performance of the new stores under the brand "Champion" in Mainland China. Most of the new stores were opened this year which did not have full month operations in the comparable periods and therefore not included in the same store sales growth rate.

As at 31 December 2018, the group had a total of 181 offline stores (31 December 2017: 150 offline stores) under the high-end fashion retailing business in the following geographical segments, among which 42 (31 December 2017: 5 offline stores) operating under "Champion".
